Module DevicePowerOn power on failed.

Unable to create virtual SCSI device for scsi0:0, '/vmfs/volumes/5046fddd-ce76eff8-7714-842b2b7353cc/ABC/ABC.vmdk'

Failed to open disk scsi0:0: Unsupported or invalid disk type 7.  Ensure that the disk has been imported.

As the O/S is running Windows 2012 and if it does not support under 5.0.0.768111 , I can import to my another VM server which is running 5.1.0 1117900 but I don't know how to attach the USB harddisk so it can access by it's VM guest ... ?!
